2008 – 2010:  M.F.A. sculpture with a minor in drawing, Winthrop University, Rock Hill, SC

 

1999 – 2003:  B.F.A in general studio with concentrations in painting and printmaking, Winthrop University, Rock Hill, SC

 

Work Experience:

2011 – present:  Adjunct Art Instructor Winthrop University, Rock Hill, SC

-Experience teaching undergraduate Drawing I, Three Dimensional Design 1, and Installations/Performance

-Experience teaching graduate independent study in Sculpture/Performance

 

2008 – present:  Wood shop monitor at Winthrop University, Rock Hill, SC

-Advise and assist students on safety, proper use of tools and techniques, structural integrity, and choice of materials

-Stretcher, panel, and frame building demonstrations

 

2003 – present:  Freelance artist and principal member of Sinergismo, a collaborative performance group

-Drawing, painting, sculpture

-Lead creative and logistical brainstorming sessions

-Design and fabricate props, sets, and costumes

-Perform and choreograph movement

-Compose and produce digital soundtracks

 

2006-2009: Commercial electric sign installer and service technician
